  • LMPS 'Swap Shop' - Donated School Uniform

    We have had many generous donations of LMPS school uniform in new, nearly new and good used condition. We have items in all sizes from ages 4 to 11+. This initiative is set up in the School Music Studio every Wednesday afternoon, after school. Please come and have a browse and take any items you need.

  • St Mary's Church Sustainable Christmas Tree

    Visiting St Mary’s Church at the weekend, it was lovely to see the alternative, sustainable Christmas decorations on the tree in church made by our very own LMPS Eco Warriors!

  • Year 6 Christmas Production of Scrooge

    Year 6 have delighted audiences this week with their Christmas production, 'Scrooged' - an abridged version of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carols. There were ghosts, Christmas markets, Victorian school rooms and Tiny Tim of course!

  • Year 3 - Stonehenge Educational Visit

    On Tuesday 6th December, Year 3 set off on their FIRST EVER school trip! Over the Autumn Term, we have been researching and learning about the Stone Age, so were better to go than the mysterious Stonehenge! We had a guided tour around the stones where we had the chance to ask any questions that we had to the experts (they were very impressed by our curiosity!).

  • Year 6 Victorian Evening

    Published 21/11/22

    On Monday 21st of November, the hall was transformed into a Victorian Fayre. Year 6 invited their families and friends along to celebrate their learning of the Industrial Revolution and the Victorians. Exhibits featured inventions such as dynamite and the x-ray and Victorian toys were out on display such as hopscotch, cup-and-ball, skipping ropes and ball-and-hoop.

    Children in Need 2022

    On Friday 18th November Lytchett Matravers Primary School supported Children in Need. All the children and staff came into school dressed ‘Spotacularly!’. As always everyone was very generous and we managed to raise £412.07 (£12 was kindly donated by Pre-School).

  • Year 4 POOLE HARBOUR BOAT EDUCATIONAL VISIT

    Year 4 had a fantastic trip around Poole Harbour with staff from Birds of Poole Harbour. Upon boarding the boat, they were all equipped with a pair of binoculars and Paul, from Birds of Poole Harbour, explained what they might see and why.
