Stay Safe on Halloween & Bonfire Night

Before Halloween, Years 5 and 6 enjoyed a Halloween and Bonfire night assembly delivered by Dorset Police’s Safer Schools and Communities Team.

They learned about how to keep themselves safe while trick or treating and on Bonfire Night.  They were also encouraged to think about how more vulnerable members of the community might feel at these times.

The children came up with some very insightful comments and questions of their own and we look forward to hearing about all the fun they had celebrating these events.

On 31st October, Mrs Dominey also ran a whole school assembly ensuring that our children knew how to stay safe on Bonfire Night and Halloween.  We all learned about Guy Fawkes and his plans to blow up the Houses of Parliament too!
